Quinton Goodwin - A Very Versatile Guard Print E-mail

Quinton Goodwin is a Sophomore 511 170lbs, Point/Shooting Guard at Mt. Saint Joseph High School on the Men’s Junior Varsity Team.  “Q” is one of the most versatile guards of the 2009 class.

Quinton Goodwin“Q” can flat out shoot the ball, he is an efficient scorer, he has tremendous shooting range, his first step off the dribble is deadly, and this kid can finish.  “Q” is a very strong rebounder, excellent ball handler, and a good defender. His continued work ethic will propel him into becoming one of the top guards of the 2009 class from Maryland.

“Q” is the ultimate Quiet Storm.  He has a quiet demeanor but is deadly on the court!!!!   This past season "Q" led the MSJ JV Basketball team to a 27-1 Championship season. His team was the BCL/MIAA regular season champions, as well as the BCL/MIAA tournament champions. With "Q" providing team leadership and 18 pts, 6 assist, and 7 rebounds per game. Many times he encountered a box in one defense from the beginning through end of the game.  When evaluating "Q" Goodwin's talent you don't have to look at stat sheet, just ask the players and coaches that have been challenged with preparing defenses to slow him down. He was truly a team leader in every aspect of the word. Many of the intangibles "Q" provides won't be recorded on paper, however he has the ability to completely take a game over.
