You Name It, We Bring Game to It! Print E-mail
Buckle up and hold on for the ride; while the Baltimore Stars summer Big Hoop mission moves into the final quarter. We're got players going to the:USA Olympic camp, Grass roots NBA camp, George Mason University and the University of Virginia Elite Camps, UVA camp, Reebok’s Elite camp and the Eastern Invitational.

We want to Recognize Isaiah Armwood for getting invited to the USA Olympic camp in Colorado and holding his own; and Terrell Vincent and Henry Sims for getting invited to the Grass roots NBA camp in Virginia. Henry of course did well but it was Terrell Vincent who led the entire camp in scoring and rebounding early on before receiving a small bone fracture to his hand.  Don’t worry, his summer is not over yet, he will return to action and will be playing with us in Vegas and in Disney. We know he will close out the summer with a bang! He always does.

Devon Branch, Troy Franklin, Marc Anthony Franks and Rummell King were invited to the George Mason University and the University of Virginia Elite Camps.  Alex Jackson, William Barton, Antonio Barton, Carl Fair Jr, and Nardie Bouges were invited to the UVA camp as well.  All of our kids did extremely well at those camps.  We walked away with top player honors  and with two additional scholarship considerations.

The following Players have been invited to Reebok’s Elite camp or the Eastern Invitational which starts today: Henry Sims, Terrell Vincent, Isaiah Armwood, Devon Branch, Troy Franklin, Alex Jackson, Marc Anthony Franks, Jordan Lee, Rummell King, Justin McCoy, Tore` Turner, John Swartz, Tionne Womack, James Davenport, William Barton, Antonio Barton, Que Goodwin, Carl Fair Jr, Joshua Boyd, , Nardie Bouges, just to name a few.
These invites don’t happen by Osmosis; we really want all of our kids to get in but it’s very difficult and we had to work really hard to accomplish what we have. Moreover, we have gotten far more kids into camp than any other organization locally. Congratulations to the entire organization for pulling the strings to create these camp opportunities for our kids.

Finally, the 15U, 16U AND 17U are going to Rider University (JULY 11TH AND 12TH) and the University of West Virginia (JULY 14TH AND 15TH) to compete in front of D1 coaches.

We will close out the summer in style by competing in Las Vegas from July 22 – 26, and then flying to the AAU Nationals in Disney World in Orlando, Florida from July 26 – August 1.

What time is it?  Game time, WHOOP!
